Since the 1950s he started to equip his extravagant apartment in Paris with artwork, till the space could no longer withstand his passion as a collector. An adventurous journey begins, starting with his interest for the Nouveau R\u00e9alisme und the Art Informel, to the fascination for the rebels of Pop Art and the art of graffiti writings. This life full of art is displayed in his numerous estates and also in his functions as gallery owner, museums board and patron of the arts.<\/p>\n<p>In cooperation with the Gunter Sachs Estate the Institute for Cultural Exchange presents important pieces of the Gunter Sachs Collection.
